HMF Pre + Probiotic is a synbiotic preparation of micoflora and non-digestible soluble fibers, syngeristically formulated to restore and maintain colonic microflora, and to improve the implantation, survival and growth of the beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. Prebiotics, non-digestible food substances that stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria, are critical to colon health and the immune system. The addition of fructo-oligosaccharides and psyllium husk ensure significant prebiotic effect especially in those individuals who lack soluble fiber; This combination product enhances the ability of the beneficial bacteria to adhere to the intestines, while at the same time providing a source of fiber.

Recommended Dosage: Adults and Children (6 years and older): In a glass, add water or milk to one scoop (1/2 teaspoon) of HMF Pre + Probiotic and mix. Take two times daily with meals, two hours before or after taking other medications, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.

Human MicroFlora (HMF) probiotic strains are research-driven and clinically proven in randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human trials at 25 billion CFU. Proprietary non-pathogenic human-sourced microflora bacterial strains are utilized as they have strong epithelial adherence and a naturally high tolerance to stomach acid.
Risk Information: If you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain; or if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than two weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defaecate following the use of another laxative product, do not use. 3/2/2011 Ingredient Notice from Seroyal/Genestra:
The formulation of the HMF probiotics has not changed, just the manufacturer's guarantee has changed on the label of the HMF Probiotics. It has been recently communicated to us by Seroyal/Genestra that Barley gluten, lactose and soy are used in the fermentation medium for growing the micro-organisms prior to manufacturing the final formulation. These nutrients are digested by the micro-organisms during fermentation and further removed during centrifugation (after fermentation).
We have tested the HMF probiotics as worst-case scenarios based on total daily consumption and target populations and no gluten, dairy or soy was detected in the final product. Although our analytical assay for soy, gluten & dairy did not detect any proteins, these methods cannot detect total absence.

Are HMF products shipped with an ice pack? No. But, after extensive product testing and new freeze drying technology performed by Genestra, it was concluded that the ice pack did not make a difference during shipping since the product potency was still well over 100% label claims when shipped with ice or no ice. The manufacturer states that it is no longer necessary to ship the HMF products with an ice pack for these reasons:
1. Genestra has added in 50% more probiotic than what the label guarantees per bottle. For example, HMF Forte is guaranteed to have 6 billion L. acidophilus per serving, but there are 12 billion present at time of manufacturing and it is kept frozen until shipping.
2. October 2004: The manufacturer has increased product stability again, allowing the probiotics to last up to 3 months at room temperature holding their GUARANTEED minimum potency on label!
3. You will receive your HMF probiotic directly from the manufacturer in about 3-5 days. This product is very fresh and has not been sitting around on our shelves. And, you are guaranteed it will contain 50% more than what the label states.
How do I travel with my HMF probiotics? We highly recommend you take your probiotics with you on all trips and vacations since their potency will last for up to3 months at room temperature un-refrigerated. But, when possible and if convenient, we recommend you store your probiotics in the freezer or refrigerator, especially if you plan to preserve freshness of your product for months or years.

Good for my grandson

My grandson of 18 months has a very delicate digestive system. He from his birth had problems with his bowel movements. We began using the probiotic for infant and then switched to HMF Pre-Probiotic. He looks forward everymoring to have is vitamines wich I serve him in a little of rice milk. We immediatly began to see a difference in his bowel movements, they became regular with hardly any smell.
