The HMF products are powerful probiotics for relief of intestinal health problems. These Human Micro Flora (HMF) are human-derived strains including Lactobacillus acidophilus and L. bifidus, and the only product line of their kind in North America. All other probiotics are made from animal or dairy strains and do not adhere as well to the human gastrointestinal tract.?
Recommended Adult Dose: Add water to a 1/4 teaspoon of HMF Super Powder and mix. Take two times daily with meals, or as recommended by your health care practitioner.

HMF Super Powder 120g contains a 3:1 ratio of L. acidophius to Bifidobacterium, thus focuses more on upper GI distress, and also targets cells in the gyno-urino system.
HMF Super Powder is indicated for colds, flus, gas, bloating, indigestion, food poisoning, bacterial vaginosis, and fungal and yeast infections. Most notable is the critical role of taking HMF probiotics during and post antibiotic use which seriously damages the good flora throughout the body.
HMF Super Powder can help crowd out the yeast and other undesirable organisms which result from use of antibiotics, chemotherapy, oral contraceptives, and hormone replacement therapy.
HMF Super Powder has a sweet taste due to the fructo-oligo-saccharides (FOS) content which ensures rapid establishment of the Lactobacilli in the upper small intestine and bifido bacteria in the lower small intestine. FOS is a naturally-occurring water-soluble fiber from fruit and vegetables which feeds the friendly intestinal bacteria. It also provides naturally-occurring beta-carotene from the whole freeze-dried apricot. The apricot is used for its soothing effect on the intestinal walls and also for its flavor.
Intensive Phase Take ? teaspoon twice daily after meals for one month. Please note, for more severe intestinal upsets you may safely take 1 Tablespoon twice daily.
Intermediate Phase Take teaspoon one or twice daily for one month.

2. October 2004: The manufacturer has increased product stability again, allowing the probiotics to last up to 3 months at room temperature holding their GUARANTEED minimum potency on label!
3. You will receive your HMF probiotic directly from the manufacturer in about 3-5 days. This product is very fresh and has not been sitting around on our shelves. And, you are guaranteed it will contain 50% more than what the label states.
How do I travel with my HMF probiotics? We highly recommend you take your probiotics with you on all trips and vacations since their potency will last for up to 3 months at room temperature un-refrigerated. But, when possible and if convenient, we recommend you store your probiotics in the freezer or refrigerator, especially if you plan to preserve freshness of your product for months or years.

Easy and pleasant to take. I cannot definitively prove that it did anything for me. However, taking the following into consideration, I would take it again:-
1). There is irrefutable evidence that gut biota have a profound effect on one's health.
2). Grocery store probiotics contain only a very small number of bacteria relative to the trillions in your gut and the bacteria are from non-animal sources and only a single species. The Genestra products contain a much greater quantity and the bacteria are cultured from human sources and contain several species.
Some authorities believe that everyone's gut has a distinct gut flora composition to which it will usually eventually return after any perturbation. It seems to be a matter of faith whether taking probiotics orally will change anything in the long term. But if you think it will, or if you are suffering such that you are ready to try probiotics, then Genestra products are the way to go unless you want to try a faecal inoculation from a healthy human donor.
The small numbers of single non-human bacteria in grocery store probiotic drinks and yogurts will not do anything for you whereas Genestra probiotics just might.

Super powder is really super product. Me and kids were taking it for immune support. I like to have it in my fridge for "emergencies" like occasional digestive upsets so common with kids. Works magic. One of my kids does not like the taste, but it's a minor issue considering the benefits of the product. When the whole family uses this product it is become a bit pricey though. Quality costs:))

I take this for my IBS. I find it helps a lot with digestion. Unfortunately, you have to take it every day to maintain this effect, with can get pricey.
